Prior to P97, Dae was Vice President of Research for NACS, the association for convenience and fuel retailing. Over the last 18 years at NACS, Dae and his team helped establish financial, operational and shopper benchmarks for the industry that was critical to the association’s advocacy efforts on a range of issues including payment methods, motor fuels and tobacco. Prior to NACS, he spent 10 years with Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation in a variety of roles in sales, finance and brand management.
Beyond his role at P97 Networks, Dae is a study group facilitator, and he has served on the Board of Directors for Conexxus and POPAI, and is a former member of the Coca Cola Retailing Research Council.
Dae grew up in Baltimore, received his undergraduate degree in political science and political economics from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Master’s in International Management from the University of Maryland. He and his wife Kristie live in Virginia with their two boys.
